Hi! I’m Alaina Flores and it is my great privilege to serve as the President of Tri Delta’s Gamma Theta Chapter at UC Santa Barbara. I am a third year Environmental Studies and Sociology double major with a minor in Applied Psychology. Deciding to go through sorority recruitment my freshman year was the second best decision of my college career. Joining Tri Delta was by far the best decision. When I joined, I thought I was gaining a house full of new best friends. Instead I gained a home full of the kindest, strongest, most inspiring women I have ever met, whom I now have the honor of calling not only my best friends, but my sisters too. Over the last three years, Tri Delta has truly become my home and my family.
Thinking back to my own bid day as a freshman, I never could have imagined I would one day be where I am today and I couldn’t have done it without the love and support of all my sisters. Every day they inspire me to be a better version of myself. They have taught me compassion, dedication, leadership, and so much more and I could never express the depth of my gratitude. Words cannot explain the love and respect I feel for my sisters. I can only hope that I make them proud this year as their President, because it is truly the honor of my life to serve such amazing women.
I encourage you all to go Greek this fall and find your home too!
Delta Love and Mine,
